Construction in Ghana, during the rainy season, certainly has its challenges. However, construction continues at the site for the new Crossover International Academy and progress is steadily being made. The first phase is leveling and creating the substructure, which you can see happening in the photos below.
Bricks that will be used on the classrooms are piled up to the left and in the background. Soon, they will be walls to the classrooms! The plastic bag in the foreground is like a plastic bottle here. People in Ghana drink water from plastic bags (instead of bottles) and then litter the bags. Dave reports that many city drainage systems are clogged by plastic bags.
